June Airfield News
Shakey Super Pull
The big league monsters of British Tractor Pulling are back for the 4th annual Shakey Super Pull held at Long Marston Airfield's Shakespeare County Raceway June 8th/9th. Often dubbed as the world's most powerful motorsport it is in fact the slowest as speeds very rarely exceed 30 to 40 miles per hour as highly mutated agricultural tractor rigs try and haul a weighted sled across a 100 metre clay track as quickly and efficiently as possible without the tricks of the sled catching them out at the other end and achieve a 'FULL PULL'. Find out what its all about June 8th/9th.
Long Marston Airfield Sports & Leisure is delighted to announce that Europe’s premier bus gathering - Showbus 2013 will be arriving at the Warwickshire venue on Sunday September 22nd. The show has been running for over 40 years and is the perfect showcase to display old and modern British and European buses to an adoring public. There will be displays, tours in and around Long Marston Airfield. So, make a date and hop on board for Showbus 2013. Ding, ding.
